Mumbaikars have decided to go on a hunger strike in order to press for their demand of the closure of the Deonar dumpyard.
It has been 10 days since the fire broke out at the Deonar dumpyard which led to a rise in pollution levels and smog. Many people from nearby areas like Shivaji Nagar, Baiganwadi, Rafee Nagar and Sanjay Nagar have been affected and are dealing with health issues.
