BEST Strike: Mumbaikars bear the brunt for 7th day

Commuters in Mumbai are facing a harrowing time with best strike entering its 7th day with no agreement in sight between agitating workers & management of the civic-run transport undertaking. Over 32,000 employees of the Brihan Mumbai electric supply and transport undertaking are on strike since Tuesday and 3,200-odd buses in its fleet are off the roads. Striking workers have been demanding the merger of the BMC and best budgets as well as higher salaries among other issues.
