Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi on Friday said the government was suppressing the wishes of the students of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and asked the ruling dispensation to hear their grievances in wake of the controversy over Gajendra Chauhan's appointment as the chief of the institute. "I spent some hours with the students and I am very proud of them. The work they do is excellent. They showed me three of their films. They are only asking for a very small thing. They're asking for a discussion. They are asking for their voice to be heard," Gandhi told the media here.
