BJP MP Varun Gandhi today broke his own code to take a swipe at his estranged cousin Rahul Gandhi, who has aggressively taken on the government over the farmers' crisis. Varun was at his constituency Sultanpur in Uttar Pradesh, distributing cheques to farmers out of his parliamentary funds, when he said, "I want you to go to every MP and tell them - Varun has given five months of his salary, how much will you five from your salaries to distressed farmers? Ask the MP of Pratapgarh, ask the Ambedkarnagar MP, Jaunpur MP..." He paused and added, "You can even ask the Amethi MP if you want." His audience laughed.
