Essel Group confirms launch of rival T20 league in an year

In what may come as a shock to the Indian Premier League, Essel Group is planning to launch a rival T20 league in India & that they plan to launch this rebel league in just over an year. Essel Group's head of strategy Himanshu Mody has revealed that the group plans a 10-12 multi city tournament & is confident of luring the best players in the world. Reports suggest that Essel is willing to pay upto 50 million dollars to lure the likes of Aussie skipper like Michael Clarke & explosive opener David Warner away from their respective boards.
