Prabha's mortal remains arrives in India

The body of Prabha Arun Kumar, 41, the IT consultant who was stabbed to death in Sydney a week ago, was flown to Bengaluru late on Saturday night. Arun Kumar, her husband, arrived with the body by a Singapore Airlines flight at 9.50pm.
Fifteen family members received the body at the Air-India SATS Airfreight Terminal, 1 km from the main terminal, around 10.40pm. At 11 pm, the body was shifted to a hearse and taken to their Chandra Layout home. A four-member team of airport police escorted the body. Trijesh Jayachandra, Prabha's nephew, told STOI the body will be kept at their residence between 6.30am and 9.30am on Sunday for people to pay their respects.
