Hyderabad: An encounter is underway between the Maoists and greyhound commandos near Satyanarayanapuram village under Cherala Mandal Khammam. The gunbattle started early on Monday morning.

The Greyhounds encountered with 30-40 Maoists who were trying to burn the BSNL tower in Satyanarayanapuram village.

Three weapons have been recovered from the site.
