The Jammu and Kashmir state legislative assembly has unanimously adopted a resolution saying the state government shall urge the Centre to resume Indo-Pak dialogue process.

The resolution which was brought in by the chairman of the council, also calls upon the centre to ensure the prevention of firing which has caused loss of human life and property, and also ensure peace and stability in the subcontinent in general and the state of Jammu & Kashmir in particular.
