States and Central government meet to review Food Security Act

Food and civil supplies Minister Anil Deshmukh said the Maharashtra government will seek for amendment in the Food Security Act, under which 35 kg food grains per ration card be provided to the beneficiary.

Deshmukh told reporters here that the request for amendment will be made at the meeting of food ministers from all over the country in Delhi on Friday.
