Delhi: Farmer leaders consume their own food during the lunch break at Vigyan Bhawan where the talk with the government is underway. A farmer leader said, 'We are not accepting food or tea offered by the government. We have brought our own food'. The farmers warned yesterday that this round of talks will be the last chance to call an emergency session of parliament and recall the controversial legislation. Farmers from Punjab are still pouring in at the borders of Delhi, threatening to block entry to the national capital. The farmers are apprehensive that the new laws will lead to the scrapping of the support price of the government that guarantees them an income and leave them open to manipulation by corporates.
