NDA puts Dayanidhi Maran on notice in telecom scam

The CBI has examined former telecom minister Dayanidhi Maran in an attempt to finalise the case in the alleged allocation of more than 300 BSNL high-speed phone lines to him.
CBI sources said Maran was examined last month for his alleged involvement in the allocation of the lines which were purportedly used by a company owned by his family and involved in electronic media.
The agency had registered a case against Maran and BSNL officials for allegedly allotting over 300 high-speed
