On February 5, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that India will become the third-largest economy in the third term of the BJP-led NDA government. PM Modi was replying to the Motion of Thanks to the President's address in the Lok Sabha. He also took a swipe at the Congress. PM Modi quoted the then Finance Minister P Chidambaram, who presented the Interim Budget for 2014-15, saying that Congress was proud of being the 11th largest economy in 2014.
