West Bengal government has agreed to transfer all the officials that the Election Commission had said should be moved from their posts. The only clause the West Bengal government has thrown in is that it should be allowed to choose the replacement to the officials, the channel reported. While it seems that the government seems to have finally budged from its stance, it remains to be seen if the Election Commission is willing to be set terms in this manner.
