The clamour for action against former supreme court Judge AK Ganguly is growing by the day. The delhi police has now sought advice and opinion of Additional solicitor general Siddharth Luthra. They have also written to the law intern asking her to file a formal complaint.

The three-judge committee of the Supreme Court has indicted Justice Ganguly of committing an "act of unwelcome behaviour" and "conduct of sexual nature" towards a woman law intern.

Mamata Banerjee has all along been demanding that Ganguly step down from the chair of WB state human rights commission.
