Doctors at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences ( AIIMS) said Saturday that the autopsy on the body of Sunanda Pushkar Tharoor, the dead wife of Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development Shashi Tharoor, would be conducted soon.
Dr. Sudhir Gupta, the head of the AIIMS Autopsy Board, said that a panel of three doctors would be conducting the autopsy.
Dr. Gupta further stated that the autopsy could take a couple of hours to complete, and its findings would be revealed after completion of the procedure.
Dr. Gupta's announcement came as another medical team said that Shashi Tharoor was now stable hours after being admitted for treatment for a cardiac-related complaint.
