Commenting on recent news reports of the Lashkar-e-Taiba approaching Muzaffarnagar riot victims Congress Party general secretary Digvijay Singh on Tuesday said that if this information was credible, then whatever party vice president Rahul Gandhi had said three months ago has turned out to be correct. "If it is true, then whatever Rahul Gandhi said, was right. Also, we need to understand that we have to deal with such issues with a lot of sensitivity," said Digvijay.

Samajwadi Party leader Naresh Agarwal said that if the whole incident was true, then the police should investigate the matter.
