Report: Trump Has 'Weighed Dismissing' Treasury Secretary Mnuchin

President Trump has "weighed dismissing" Steven Mnuchin, reports Bloomberg.

President Trump has "weighed dismissing" Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin in the wake of steep stock market losses, reports Bloomberg.
"One person familiar with the president's thinking says that Trump has weighed dismissing Mnuchin, while another said that Mnuchin's tenure may depend in part on how much markets continue to drop," the outlet reports.
The report came on the same day that major stock indexes experienced "the worst day of Christmas Eve trading ever," according to NBC News.
"The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 653 points, falling below 22,000, on Monday and the S&P 500 entered a bear market after tanking more than 20 percent from a previous high," NBC added.
The Federal Reserve has been the primary target of Trump's frustration over the stock market and rising interest rates.
"The only problem our economy has is the Fed," he tweeted Monday. "They don't have a feel for the Market, they don't understand necessary Trade Wars or Strong Dollars or even Democrat Shutdowns over Borders. The Fed is like a powerful golfer who can't score because he has no touch - he can't putt!"
