Scuffle between Indian and Chinese troops along LAC in Ladakh
  • 5 years ago
Amid the standoff in Doklam, India has foiled another Chinese incursion bid in Ladakh. The incident took place on Tuesday when the Chinese troops tried to enter the Indian side near the north bank of the Pangong Lake in Ladakh. The skirmish lasted for about half an hour. Chinese troops pelted stones at the Indian side and a few soldiers were injured. After sometime, both sides pulled back. Also, on India's Independence Day the people’s liberation army of China had skipped the ceremonial border meetings. This was the first time since 2005 that this meeting on August 15 was not held. Is the dragon trying to intimidate India through these scare tactics?
