It may be called as Bahujan Samaj Party’s (BSP) chief Mayawati effect or something else; Congress leader Ajay Maken has written a letter to Delhi State Elections Commission (EC) asking them to conduct ensuing Delhi’s Municipal Elections on ballot papers.

This move by the Congress leader has come after BSP supremo Mayawati after poorly losing in Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election had alleged that the Electronic Voting Machines (EVM) were tampered to somehow favour the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Delhi Municipal Corporation elections will take place on 22 April and counting for of vots will take place on 25 April.
