Lucknow: Hitting out at the Akhilesh Yadav-led Uttar Pradesh government, Vishva Hindu Parishad patron Ashok Singhal on Friday asked the reason behind tight security in and around Ayodhya ahead of VHP's scheduled 'Sankalp Diwas' today.
Is it a crime to show devotion to Lord Ram, asked an irate Singhal, after the UP government banned SMS in Ayodhya to clamp down on VHP's rally and placed over 1,200 people across the state under preventive arrest. The UP government has banned the 'Sankalp Diwas' at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.
