NewsX: Pranab to cut short Patna visit, says BJP

President Pranab Mukherjee has cut short his scheduled visit to Bihar by a day because it was clashing with a rally of BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi in Patna. Mr Mukherjee mentioned his revised schedule to BJP MPs from Bihar Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Shahnawaz Hussain, who met him on Thursday.
"The President told us that he will visit Bihar on October 26 to attend convocation, but will return to Delhi the same day," Mr Hussain said.
