NewsX: Model Anjum Nayar sent to two-week judicial custody for threatening and abusing cops

Mumbai: A local court on Tuesday sent Anjum Nayar to two-week judicial custody for abusing and using filthy language against on-duty cops on October 7. She was produced before the court this morning.
The model-turned-actor was held by Oshiwara police on Monday for threatening and trying to deter a public servant from discharging his duties and criminal intimidation.
Anjum Nayar had debuted in the film Cover Story opposite Jackie Shroff.
It is learnt that Anjum has been booked under IPC 353, 294, 504 and 506 by the Mumbai police.
