NewsX : Congress asks Cabinet to recall ordinance on convicted polititcians

The Congress Core Group on Wednesday decided to withdraw the controversial Ordinance to protect convicted legislators.
Sources said that the decision was unanimous. But this would be one of the rare occasions when an Ordinance twice approved by the Union Cabinet is withdrawn.
