On the evening of Friday 13th September 2013 the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Parliamentary Board announced that Shri Narendra Modi would be the BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, which are scheduled for 2014.
Shri Narendra Modi has devoted his entire life in service of the people. He made a mark for himself as an organisation man, who played a major role in making the BJP a force to reckon with in Gujarat during the late 1980s and early 1990s.
