NewsX: Chain snatching becoming a common crime in Mumbai

The recent trend shows that now-a-days in Mumbai with all other crimes existing... The crime that is increasingly becoming common is chain snatching. NewsX tries to unearth the real cause for such happening as it in turn marrs the reputation of the iconic Mumbai. As per a recent RTI report it is seen that from year 2010 till Jan 2013 a whopping 4685 cases were registered. Everyday 4 to 5 cases are surfaced..Out of these only 30 to 40 percent of cases have been detected and very less recovery is done successfully.
