Kanhaiya Kumar arrested! Others Attacked At Delhi Court : JNU hearing

Kanhaiya Kumar, head of the student union at Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), was kicked and punched as he was rushed from a car into the court by police who protected him with a riot shield. He was told he will spend the next 14 days in jail, with the court ordering officials to ensure his safety. Some lawyers went up to the police and bragged, in the presence of reporters, "We have done our bit for the day. We slapped him."
