News X: Supreme Court rejects PIL to reduce age of juvenile

NewsX: Supreme Court has rejected PIL seeking to reduce age to try juveniles as accused in cases of rapes and murders.
The apex court dismised the petition praying that the benefit of juvenile justice act will be given on the basis of gravity of offence and not on the basis of age.
This means the age and the juvenile justice act5 will remain at 18 yrs.
