IPL Spot Fixing : Police to take Gurunath Meiyappan to Chennai

NewsX: Gurunath Meiyappan has been remanded to police custody till May 29. Mumbai crime branch has slapped various sections of IPC on Gurunath which includes forgery, cheating and charges under gambling act.
It is learnt that Gurunath used to carry out betting in a unique way. He had four mobile numbers and used to inform bookies about his team's strategies before beginning of the match. Crime branch says that Gurunath used to bet 25 lakhs at a time on a match.
He used to called Vindoo Dara Singh during the match who in turn used to call the bookies Jupitar, Sanjay Jaipur and Pawan Jaipur to pass on the information for betting.
And these 3 bookies used to contact Ramesh Vyas. Then Ramesh Vyas directly used to contact Pakistan for betting.
