NewsX: In a major embarrassment to the on-going sixth edition of the IPL, Pacer S. Sreesanth and two other players of Rajasthan Royals are arrested by Delhi Police on charges of spot fixing.

The other two players have been named as Ankit Chavan and Ajit Chandalia. Seven bookies were also arrested.

The trio is arrested for spot fixing yesterday's match with Mumbai Indians.

However, Sreesanth, who has been in the news for the wrong reasons, had kicked up a major row in this edition of the IPL when he resurrected the 'slapgate' incident with Harbhajan Singh when Gautam Ghambir and Virat Kohli were involved in a spat.
