NewsX: It's a triple whammy for Mamata Banerjee today at the courts. On one hand, the HC upheld the verdict of primacy of the State Election Commission with regards to the impending Panchayat polls.

Then the Chit Fund Case, involving mastermind Sudipta Gupta also comes up for hearing today. The third case is that of custodial death of SFI activist, Sudipto Gupta.

All three cases which has left the mamata govt's popularity at an all time low, come up today in the courts. Making matters worse, the High Court has ordered CBI probe into a TMC worker Kazi Nasiruddin's alleged custodial death.
