Coal Scam: CBI registers case against Pushp Steels

The CBI has registered a case against Pushp Steels and Mining as part of its probe into irregularities in the allocation of coal blocks.The company was allocated a coal block in Chhattisgarh but is reportedly yet to start mining activities there.

CBI teams on Saturday raided the offices of the company in Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Narwana in Haryana and Delhi.This is 11th first information report in the coal scam probe by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The raids come a day after opposition parties disrupted parliament over the CBI telling the Supreme Court that it had shared its probe status report in the case with the government.
