J&K CM raises alarm over Chinese troops' incursion in India

Indian Army has moved re-inforcements to contain Chinese intrusion in Ladakh in the biggest military face-off since 1986. Army Chief General Bikram Singh will be in Jammu Kashmir today, beginning his two-day visit of the state. The visit assumes significance in the wake of the Chinese incursion in Ladakh sector of Jammu and Kashmir. The Jammu and Kashmir government has written to the central government voicing its concern over the "deep incursion of Chinese troops on this side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the cold desert region of Ladakh". The Chinese army has intruded well beyond China's own territorial claim.
