India News: On a flat terrain, India faced the Chinese soldiers in a 100 metres distance near the Karakoram mountain range, until both the countries reached an agreement on Sunday for both sides to withdraw.

Though details of the agreement was not revealed immediately, officers from the Indian Army's northern command said that India has accepted to China's request to destroy bunkers in the Chumar sector, further south along the disputed border.

After India agreed to China's demand in the last flag meeting, the bunkers in Chumar were dismantled, said senior Army officers to reporters.
