2G scam: Opposition corners UPA over JPC report

Amidst noisy scenes, Parliament was today informed that the JPC report will be submitted on May 8th now. This was announced soon after the DMK moved a privilege notice against P C Chacko for allegedly leaking the report. Opposition leaders in the Rajya Sabha demanded a discussion on the report. The DMK has already prepared a dissent note on it. The Opposition is calling the JPC report a cover-up to shield Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram. The BJP is upset that the report indicts senior leaders Atal B Vajpayee and Jaswant Singh have been indicted.
