NewsX has exclusive information that the Joint Parliamentary Committee probing the 2G scam is likely to give a clean chit to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Finance Minister P Chidambaram. The report is likely to conclude that there existed no record or proof to establish their involvement in the decision-making process and that Raja never listened to the views expressed by the Prime Minister. Sources also reveal that the report is set to make critical observations on few precedents set by the previous NDA regime. The JPC headed by Congress MP P C Chacko is set to discuss the report at its next meeting on April 23rd. BJP has expectedly slammed the move.
