1984 anti-Sikh riots: Setback for Jagdish Tytler, re-investigation ordered
  • 5 years ago
The 1984 anti-sikh riots continues to haunt Congress Leader Jagdish Tytler. A Delhi court has set aside the closure report. The order is based on a plea filed by a riots victim, who is seeking further probe by the CBI in the killing of three persons near Pulbangash Gurudwara. Tytler was given a clean chit by CBI in the case stating that Tytler was not present near the Gurudwara when the killing took place and instead he was at Teen Murti Bhawan. The CBI had filed a closure report in 2009, after re-investigating the case on court orders.
