Italian Marines case: SC set to start hearing today

The Supreme Court is set to start again the hearing of Italian Marines case.The Court had earlier issued notice to the Ambassador of Italy in India and had also ordered that the ambassador shall not be allowed to leave India till further orders.The court is likely to withdraw its order restricting the movement of the ambassador as the marines had come back to India before the stipulated time. Earlier India and Italy averted a crisis like situation when Italy decided to send the marines back to India to face trial for allegedly killing two fishermen near Kerala coast last year.
