Gujarat government is planning to bring amendment in Lokayukt act. According to sources major changes in the act would be that governor can issue summon for appointment only on the recommendation of council of Ministers. And government will consult the Chief Justice of Gujarat. The state government has filed curative petition before Supreme court after its review petition was dismissed.
