Tamil Nadu: DMK backed TESO calls one day bandh

The Tamil Eelam Supporters Organisation backed by DMK is all set to hold a one-day bandh across Tamil Nadu today. The dawn-to-dusk general strike has been called to mount pressure on the Centre to support the US-sponsored resolution against Sri Lanka at the Human Rights council. The DMK has also warned the UPA Government that if would not remain a mute spectator if the Centre continued to toe a soft line on the Sri Lanka issue.
