Vaiko courts arrest over protest against Rajapakse's visit

Vaiko courts arrest. He was not allowed to go towards 7rcr and has courted arrest at Parliament street police station. MDMK general secretary Vaiko is leading his partymen before Parliament street in a protest against the visit of Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse's visit to India. Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapaksa arrives in India Friday for a pilgrimage but will not visit New Delhi to meet the country's leaders Vaiko has earlier also written to Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urging him to cancel the visit of Rajapakse to Bodh Gaya the place where the Buddha is said to have attained enlightenment.
