Rohinton F Nariman resigned on Monday as the Solicitor General of India. The reason behind his resignation is not known yet. RF Nariman was appointed as the Solicitor General by the government in July 2011 after Gopal Subramaniam quit the post protesting the former's appearance in 2G scam case before the Supreme Court for telecom minister Kapil Sibal.
