Woman gangraped in Gurdaspur, six arrested

The December 16 Delhi gang rape played out all over again. This time in Gurdaspur district of Punjab. The incident came to light a day later on Saturday when the victim lodged a complaint at the Kahnuwan police station. The victim, a 29-year-old woman, was on her way from her parent's place in a Pathankot village to her in-law's house in a village in Gurdaspur, when the bus in which she was travelling did not stop at her in-laws' village. Instead the driver and conductor took the bus to Gurdaspur town.
