NewsX@9: Amended law after gangrape victim's name

Speaking exclusive to NewsX, victim's father expressed his wish that the rape law be christened after his deceased daughter to send a tough message to the culprits. Even as the family has said that it has no objection to the anti-rape law. Union Minister Shashi Tharoor's proposal to name the anti-rape law after Damini has sparked a row. Home Ministry sources have ruled out such a possibility, but questions looms large as to what's there in a name and will any interest be served by naming a law after Damini.
