Even as the rape victim's condition is highly critical, the first words she had reportedly scribbled on a paper was "Have they been caught". Meanwhile, the father of the victim's male friend who was badly thrashed in the incident, said and I quote "I never imagined my son would dare to fight these brutes. I am proud that he tried his level best to save the girl. But the father in me is scared. He too is badly injured."
