Heavy rain claims 19 lives in Uttarakhand

Nineteen people have been killed in the last 24 hours in landslides and incidents of house collapse as heavy rain continued in the hill state of Uttarakhand on Saturday.While 14 people have been killed in Yamkeshwar, Pauri and Lansdowne Tehsils of Pauri district, 2 people have reportedly been swept away in Dehradun. One death has been reported in Pithoragarh.
