2G scam: SC to decide over Sunil Mittal's prosecution - NewsX

Is Bharti Telecom Chairman Sunil Mittal to be prosecuted in the 2G case? The Supreme Court has said it will take a decision on whether Mittal was illegally allocated additional spectrum during the NDA regime, irrespective of opinions given by government law officers. The Apex Court said it is monitoring the case and the final opinion will be of the court and not the Attorney General to whom the CBI had referred the case. The bench posted the case for further hearing on November 29.
