The order overrules the Indian government's commitment to the Norwegian Courts. That had asked the children to be kept in the foster care of their paternal uncle. The CWC however has held that that the Norwegian orders don't justify a permanent separation of the children from both their parents. But despite the order, the local police didn't comply with them.
