At a time when BJP is fighting a deep crisis from within.... Former Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has only made things worse for the party. The Karnataka strongman has raised the pitch for charting an independent course once again. He is all set to launch his Karnataka Janata Party. Yeddyurappa was elected as the Chief Minister of Karnataka on May 30, 2008. The Lokayukta recommended prosecution of Yeddyurappa on July 27, 2011. On July 31, 2011 BSYeddyurappa stepped down and made way for DV Sadananda Gowda. October 23, 2012, BSYeddyurappa made it official that he will quit the BJP.
