Two old friends-turned-foes may become friends once again. Samajwadi Party's hostility towards Mulayam Singh Yadav's former lieutenant - Amar Singh, may be thawing. The Uttar Pradesh police has filed a closure report in the money laundering cases against Amar Singh which was lodged during the Mayawati-led BSP Government. With the Samajwadi Party government going soft on the matter...speculation is rife of a patch-up between Amar Singh and SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. But the possibility of Amar Singh's return to the SP camp may be far-fetched...Mulayam's son and U.P Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav is strongly opposed to it. It would be difficult for the SP leadership to forget that Amar Singh fought the last assembly election with one-point agenda -- to ensure that Mulayam and his son don't return to power.
