UCI bans Lance Armstrong for life - NewsX

The International Cycling Union (UCI) has banned cyclist Lance Armstrong for life after revelations by the US Anti-Doping agency that Armstrong had been taking drugs while active in the sport. The UCI has also stripped Armstrong off the seven Tour de France titles he had under his belt. UCI President Pat McQuaid announced on Monday that the federation accepted the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency's report on Armstrong and would not appeal to the court of Arbitration for Sport.
